Can you fit a dash cam I bought myself?+
Yes. A large share of our dash cam work is fitting cameras customers have already bought, including Nextbase, Garmin, Vantrue, Viofo and most other makes. Tell us the model when you get in touch and we will confirm it can be fitted properly before you book.
How much does dash cam installation cost?+
Fitting a front-facing camera you already own starts at £89, and front and rear starts at £149, carried out at your home or work. If you would rather we supply the camera too, Thinkware dash cams start from £210 supplied and fitted.
Do you come to me?+
Yes, every installation is mobile. We fit at your home or workplace across Sussex and Surrey, so there is no garage visit and no waiting room.
What does hardwiring a dash cam involve?+
We power the camera from the vehicle's fuse box rather than the 12V socket, run every cable behind the headlining and trim, and fit a voltage cut-off so parking mode can never flatten your battery.
Can you fit a rear or cabin camera?+
Yes. We fit rear cameras on cars, vans and motorhomes with the cable fully concealed, and cabin-facing cameras for taxi and private hire drivers.
Can you move my dash cam to a new vehicle?+
Yes. We can remove a camera neatly from your old vehicle and refit it in the new one, hardwired and set up again.
Will it affect my car warranty?+
A properly hardwired dash cam uses a fuse tap and does not cut into the vehicle's wiring. We are covered by £5m motor trade insurance on every job.
