Who we are

Sheridan Installations Ltd is a mobile vehicle technology installer based in Steyning, West Sussex BN44 3RD. We are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect

When you request a quote or book a fitting we collect your name, phone number, email address where given, vehicle details, postcode or fitting address, and any notes you send us about the job.

If you contact us by WhatsApp, SMS or phone, we hold that message history so we can pick up where we left off.

Why we use it

To quote your job, arrange a fitting slot, complete the installation, register tracking subscriptions with the relevant provider, and support you afterwards. We also keep basic records for warranty, insurance and accounting purposes.

We do not sell your information and we do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask for.

Who we share it with

Only where it is needed to deliver the job: tracking platform and monitoring providers when a subscription is registered in your name, and our accountant for record keeping. Each is bound to handle your data securely.

How long we keep it

Quote enquiries that do not proceed are deleted within 12 months. Installation records are kept for six years to cover warranty and accounting obligations.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Contact us on the number below and we will deal with the request within one month.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how we have handled your data.
