Which Thinkware should I actually buy?+
For a van or a fleet the F70 PRO is usually right: compact, Full HD and £210 supplied and fitted. For most cars the Q850 PRO is the honest answer, with Sony STARVIS optics, a small body and sensible file sizes. Step up to the U3000 PRO if you park on the street and want radar parking, or the ARC 900 if you want front and rear recording with a screen on the camera. The Q200 is the value way to cover front and rear, and the ARC 700 adds a 4K front channel if you want the sharper files.
Is the fitted price on this page the final price?+
It is the camera supplied plus a standard hardwired install on a normal car or van. Awkward vehicles, rear cameras on motorhomes, LTE modules or radar are quoted before you commit. You will never get a surprise on the day.
Can you fit a dash cam I already bought?+
Yes, and we do it constantly. Front-facing fitting starts at £89 and front and rear from £149 at your home. See our dash cam installation page for fitting cameras you already own.
Will parking mode flatten my battery?+
Not when it is hardwired properly. We fit a voltage cut-off set to suit your battery so the camera shuts down long before it could leave you stranded.
Do you cover the camera if it goes wrong?+
Cameras we supply are covered by us for warranty work. You ring Mark, not a call centre. If we fit a camera you bought elsewhere, the camera warranty stays with the retailer you bought it from, and we still stand behind our installation.
What does it cost to fit a camera I already own?+
Front-facing dash cam fitting starts at £89 and front and rear from £149, carried out at your home. Those are fitting-only labour prices with no camera included.
Do I get shown how to use it?+
Always. The app is paired, the SD card formatted, parking mode set and your first clip played back with you before we leave.
